Yep, will only be in Perth, Melbourne and select other games (i.e. a few).
They should be made to cover the game live!!!

Is it true that Dwayne Russell calls most (if not all) interstate games from the NEP studio in Melbourne, even before COVID?
I went to a few GWS games prior to the pandemic and Anthony Hudson would sometimes be at the ground.

And Covid required them to change their approach (and in the process discover that remote calling produced a result that could be considered acceptable).
Like it or not, remote calling seems to be here to stay in some form.

Damian Barrett often gives it to Fox on The Sounding Board for not calling games at the ground. Even Hutchy has come around to the idea that games are best called at the ground.

Yes they should be calling and hosting from every ground, but the cost to quality benefit isnāt worth it. The difference in quality perceived by some is way overstated, especially for run of the mill games.

Turns out professional broadcasters are better commentators than former players! Best sounding game of footy for years and years.
Fox should double down on this approach ready for next year. People will pay for kayo to get away from sevenās buffoon like commentators. Now if Fox can only show Mark Howard the doorā¦

Debut of the new āstandardā Perth lineup of Papalia, Pavlich, Schofield & Loughnan. Note no Special Comments from a ex-player watching in Sth Melbourne like previously.
Shame they canāt organize a similar local line-up for other locations, such as SA.
