Righto.
It’s a pathetic statement with no grounding in reality and is highly subjective.

Right calm down. He’s just an offering an opinion. I would have to agree that there a subtle differences in the way the camera operations work within both codes. I have noticed a slight difference and drop too.
Why do you need to call someone’s opinion pathetic ?
No, you’re the pathetic one - stop being so thin-skinned and jumping to stupid conclusions about people’s opinions.
The quality of sports broadcasting in this country has taken a considerable nosedive since Covid - we accepted it during lockdowns and restrictions because it was the lesser of two evils, but now it feels like the shift is being accepted as normal because it is easier or saves money (or something else). The covid excuse doesn’t hold much water anymore. At least they’ve dispensed with trying to hide elements of it (like the awful remote calling that Fox has persisted with)
It does the sport a disservice and treats the fans as mugs, yet the power imbalance between sports and their broadcasters means that nothing really happens about it and complaints are ignored or summarily dismissed.
That said, some of the things that have been dispensed with we can live without (like the need for lengthy panels that bookend actual game coverage)
This is still probably the biggest issue for many, I personally haven’t noticed the dodgy camera work (although the well documented SCG ones I have) as I’m usually watching my team or a big top-of-the-table clash and more focused on following the ball and my nerves/stress Does Fox League and other Fox Sports also call remotely (from Sydney) say for Storm games at AAMI or games in Queensland? I take it Nine will absolutely move all production to Adelaide for the SOO there?
Why do others have to dismiss my response their “opinion” - and how is thin skinned?
Except we’re not talking about the Covid excuse.
Yes, Fox does all games from Sydney. Especially all games done by Nine.
You’d assume so, they go to the big games. At worst the main hosting may be in the studio but calling will be there.
Yes they have previously, nothing stopping them from doing so this week.
He’s doing tennis on 9 too
AFL360 going live to an AFL press conference tonight at 19:45.
Extended edition tonight?
Two feeds going with 360 and generic FSN.
They’ve lost about 10 mins of show time due to talking about the press conference which wouldn’t have originally been in the rundown, so every chance.
Well it hasn’t started yet so you’d assume they’ll keep going to run the full conference.
Even if it’s being called remotely, there’s a huge commentary team on the Gold Coast vs Adelaide match tonight, Dermott riding the boundary for a change.
And on the lesser rating/exposed Fox Sports 503 channel too, also weird given it’s involving Gold Coast (admittedly both teams have been playing well though), not just one but two non-Vic teams and is a Seven simulcast in both markets including main channel of course being Adelaide. This will struggle for 6 figures nationally, maybe even if still a good contest, perhaps it was also a tactic to improve quality?
A one-hour documentary Fight for the Right debuted on Fox Footy channel last night. It will be repeated this afternoon at 4.50pm AEST and can be seen anytime on Kayo Sports.
The documentary celebrates the 50th anniversary of AFL Players Association, and features stories from Patrick Dangerfield, Darcy Vescio, Don Scott, Simon & Justin Madden, Paul Marsh, Brendon Gale, Andrew Demetriou, Luke Ball and Matthew Pavlich.
JAM TV produced this one, nice to see some more content on 504 instead of re-runs.
It looks like the pink hue has made a comeback - not as bad as back in May though (seems to be more prevalent on the tight action cameras when they have the LED advertising hoardings in the background)
I reckon the pink elements in the LED advertising creates an illusion that all whites are pink. At first glance it looks like there’s a pink hue, but the white on their guernseys and other white things in the shot look pretty normal.
