Kelli Underwood copped backlash from some people for her commentary of Essendon v Fremantle this afternoon.
Twitter whenever Kelli calls a game is garbage. It’s been 10 years since she first called a game on TV and she’s been calling for ABC Radio since, seriously over hearing the same idiots make the same complaints. I’d rather someone like her calling a game over Eddie (especially with his love-fest of Dusty last night), at least she keeps it neutral, and can join in with a bit of banter too.

When will Matt Hill start commentating games?
Matt Hill calls for AFL Nation / SEN on radio on some Sundays when he isn’t busy calling Victorian horse racing. I haven’t seen any indication that he is going to start calling AFL on TV? (although he’s pretty good so he’s probably on the recruitment radar of the TV broadcasters)
He’s calling Richmond V Adelaide for SEN and AFL Nation tomorrow at 2pm.
On this article (although I cannot access it as I refuse to subscribe to the HS), it says he will call for 3AW and Fox Footy.

Jon Anderson’s rumour column. Kind of strange that it was published on March 13, two days after SEN issued a press release about Matt joining them.
At a guess, I suppose Matt was being courted by multiple broadcasters and chose the one which was the best fit for the time he could give. The Herald Sun article indicated 3AW and Fox Footy wanted him for Saturday nights which would make for a very long day given he calls the Melbourne races on Saturday afternoons.
