Fox Footy

Not sure what the strategy is here, but Fox Footy have decided to put the entire episode of last night’s AFL 360 up on Youtube.

They’ve done the same for all of their shows since last season. Likewise with Fox League.

Means that they get the views rather than someone else reuploading it.

Despite assumptions to the contrary, it appears Geelong assistant coach Nathan Buckley will still be on select match day broadcasts for Fox. He’s listed as part of the team covering the St Kilda Collingwood match on Sunday.

It’s fine because he won’t appear on the matches involving Geelong anyway.

Yeah, looks to be the same graphics as last year

It’s their new style now. Haven’t finished the rollout to all sports yet.

yeah, only difference looks like the shorter scoreboard that debuted during SoO.
New flag mics, though; interesting that Dean Cox used an AFL-branded one, whereas Brad Johnson & Michael Voss used Fox Footy-branded ones.

So who’s going to be producing those matches? Fox Sports or Kayo?
Doubt Fox would bother, but Kayo does the afl match sims and their not much better than the VFL live streams on the AFL app.
Anyone remember what happened last time Kayo had the VFL?

Wouldn’t be surprised if they used a local sports steaming company to do the VFL. With the final product being a glorified stream with a few bells and whistles.

I want Kayo too put up all the Matches for Replays. I don’t want to use The Crappy AFL Live App Kayo put every Replay on Kayo in 2021 when the Foxtel group last had it on?

I’d say it’s just the production company the AFL used last season but carried on Kayo with Kayo graphics?

Interesting to note that the majority of these games involve a NSW and/or QLD based team…

My understanding was that they’re showing almost only interstate games?

Did Fox do their normal article which has the commentary teams for this round?

They did the article but there were no commentators listed

Hopefully Ken Hinkley is doing special comments on the North Melbourne v Port Adelaide game.

A new addition to the scorebug. They have the time and score from the other game. But from what I have seen the 503 is showing the score of the 504 but not the other way.

But it’s affective and good unfortunately Kayo doesn’t allow screenshots.
