Not all games from Sydney. Sixers v Heat game from the SCG on December 22 was a simulcast.

Seems to be random which games they simulcast from Seven. Not sure if it’s more or less games simulcast than last year.

They’ve done far less this season (so far)

Fox took Seven’s feed for Hurricanes v Scorchers tonight. Australian test captain Tim Paine was against guest commentator.

Goodness those graphics look atrocious. Their graphics from the end of 2018 was much better.

They’re the host broadcaster graphics, Star Sports I think (not from Fox).

I agree that they don’t look too good. I also agree that their 2018 graphics look better than the 2019 set which are too big and blocky. The 2019 graphics also look quite out of place seeing as there are still many 2018 ‘swirly’ elements present on the coverage.

God these uniforms are horrid hey at least matches the horrid graphics :joy::joy:

When I looked at the graphics, I noticed that the graphics were italicised and in bold. No. I cannot stand these type of graphics.

I think the host broadcast is done by the BCCII them selves. thats how it used to be. It went from that to BCCII doing with star sports. but i dont know how they do it now.

They are Star Sports graphics from India not Fox’s.

Star Sports just are the main broadcaster in India, they don’t produce the feed or employ the commentators. Similar to the model that the NBL and Supercars have here.

The stars match was delayed tonight because of the first match running late

We need to stop Star Sports, they gave a copyright claim for two minutes of match footage.

Good. They are the rightsholders, you are not.

Last night Fox had its own commentary team for Thunder v Renegades in Canberra, but took Seven’s feed for Scorchers v Stars in Perth. Brendan Julian and Brad Haddin hosted the broadcast of the Perth game from Sydney. Was the rest of Fox’s team taking a break?
