Fox Cricket

If you think that’s bad. Watching a test match from South Africa a couple of years ago. I swear one of them was commentating over Skype. Just sounded a little different than the other 2 in the box

If it was a couple of years ago it could have been that he was remote?

Interesting find: Fox have replaced the in-built wipes (and nothing else) in these old Nine-produced highlights episodes.

From 1:11

Yeah, I’ve think I’ve seen them do the same thing on another Nine-era highlights package. Didn’t think much of it. Maybe it’s because Fox have done their own edit? Seems trimmed down to about 28 mins, which would be an unusual episode length for free to air.

It’s very seamless though

Another studio commentary job today, this time seemingly from Fox Footy in Southbank for a game at the MCG

Due to Fox’s coverage of the Final starting an hour earlier, Fox was able to show the bat flip live, whereas 7 has to show it on delay, even though they’re the host broadcaster.

Do we think there’s any chance of Fox picking up rights to the upcoming handful of T20Is Australia is playing in Pakistan?

Currently it looks like nobody has it.

I reckon either 7, Fox, ESPN or maybe P+ might nab it

I think it’s between 7 & Fox.

ESPN got WI because the host broadcaster was ESPN WI

Not looking good. Pakistan Cricket will probably open their streaming service up for Australians to sign up and watch

Just heard on Seven as they went to the innings break that they’re going to preview the tour of Pakistan “coming up on the screens of Seven”. At least I think that’s what I heard…Will find out in a few minutes I suppose.
