That should mean Fox Cricket will also air the ODI and T20 series between England and Australia which follow the tour of Scotland.
Yeah they’re running promos for the England stuff (they have the rights anyway, no need for an announcement) but not including the Scotland matches in that promo.
Fox taking Seven’s draft coverage. Seven hosts for the first time.
Coverage starts tonight at 10.50pm AEST with the first T20 game, with play beginning at 11pm. Game 2 and 3 will take place on Friday and Saturday at the same time. All three T20s will be held at The Grange in Edinburgh.
Assuming they’re taking the iPlayer coverage straight.
I believe these are T20Is rather than ODIs.
Correct, the first ever bilateral series in the format between the sides, and first multi-game series in white ball cricket. Having never played in T20s prior to the WC this year, Scotland and Australia will have played 4 times this year.
Ah, my sleep apnea will come in handy this week.
Are there any Aussies in Sky Sports’ commentary team for the limited overs series between England and Australia?
Ponting and Jones I think?
Today from 5pm to 10pm AEST, Fox Cricket will be showing Greatest Aussie Bowlers Countdown from No.10 to No.1. Each half hour show will be dedicated to a particular bowler.
Due to overlapping schedules, live coverage of the first ODI between England and Australia from Trent Bridge will begin on Fox Sports 503 at 9pm AEST, while the first Australia v New Zealand women’s T20 from Mackay is on 501 from 6.45pm AEST. When the women’s match finishes, the men’s ODI will move across to 501.
Even with 7 having streaming rights and being the host broadcaster for the women’s international, the cricket Aus socials are using the Fox feed
That’s part of the rights agreement. Always have been.
Similar to last Thursday, live coverage of tonight’s third ODI between England and Australia (from Chester-le-Street) will begin on Fox Sports 503 at 9pm AEST, while the third and final women’s T20 between Australia and NZ from Brisbane is on Fox Cricket 501 from 6.45pm AEST. Following the post-match presentation of women’s T20, the men’s ODI will move across to 501.
Fox Cricket will be broadcasting the Sheffield Shield match between WA and QLD at the WACA from Tuesday 8 October.
Simulcasting the live stream with callers in Sydney yeah?
Potential new Fox graphics?
WA vs QLD has new graphics & that’s the match which is also on Kayo/Fox
But the other matches on today which are available only through the CA live stream still has the old graphics
If these are the Fox graphics then it’s a change from their whole Fox identify which went all black for all of their sports
Could be a total Fox rebrand, with the new TV deal starting this season, or something just for local cricket on Foxtel. The score font matches CA’s current branding (BT Brik), which is unusual for Fox; normally they do their own thing with graphics.
For the record, the other 2 matches are also on Kayo, the main difference is a channel-less Fox Cricket mark in the top right.
Nah it’s not Fox related, much better than the two-sided current one.
