Agree. There’s some very strange scheduling this season.
There’s a game in Melbourne on Monday January 10 at 2:10pm yet they didn’t feel compelled to have one during the day on an actual public holiday this coming Monday January 3rd.

Yeah unfortunately it’ll mean I won’t be able to attend as I’ll be working. My first stars home match in our history I would miss

Yep that’s correct. Including trips to Moe when we played games there. Didn’t include last years those when they weren’t in Victoria due to COVID.
I’ve also traveled to every Grand Final Mens and Womens we have participated in.

Tonight’s Big Bash match between Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars has been postponed.
Fox Cricket can confirm the match will not go ahead after News Corp reported there was a positive test in the Stars coaching staff.
Fox Cricket will still go to air at 6:30pm EDT for a live panel show.
Fox have moved the India/ZA test to 501 from 503

Which I believe stands for “Republic of South Africa”.
That always confused me as a kid watching cricket seeing “RSA”, naturally I thought it was “Russia”. Clearly they don’t field a national cricket team though!

Doesn’t seem all too often.
Basically never these days. It’s pretty much all a cost-saving thing. It was always going to happen. Nothing to do with covid.

What I hate is that they pretend they are at the ground by saying “It is a great day here at Blundstone Arena or here in Perth etc”

I thought that with the poorer audio quality and the fact BJ kept saying here at Coffs but I thought surely not.
