A bit of technical issue at the cricket
You’d wonder whether it would be possibly to just relay an audio feed (of Fox Commentary/descriptions) rather than…this.
They might not be able to see what’s happening at all.
If the commentators were at the ground that might be possible (ABC Radio coverage is still going, according to their twitter)
Its like watching a livestream on youtube
I’d suspect Gilchrist, Hussey etc who are at the ground would.
Weird seeing with no graphics and exactly the same on both Fox and Seven. Not sure if these are the 7 cameras they were talking about? Only two available Fox said, the wide shot behind the bowler and the roving one I think they said.
EDIT: Graphics just came back on Seven and a top corner scorebox on Fox.
But if nothing is able to get out of the Gabba they can’t do it.
Given Fox havent crossed to them, I wonder whether their comms have gone down too
Still a bit glitchy. Seven keep apologising saying they take the world feed.
Here’s the new Fox graphics!
i wonder if the players have told about the drs system down etc yet
Quite possibly - Mark Howard was saying a heat issue. All a bit village tbh (and not necessarily Fox’s fault)
Fox commentary position.
Expect A Few of the Ashes Commentators back Tomorrow Night’s for the Thunder versus Stars as the Gabba Test is drawing to a Close with Australia chasing 20 to Win after Lunch.
I wonder whether Fox will take heed of the … less than positive feedback in media and online about their coverage of this test. It really did feel like back to Channel Nine in its worst years.
Isa Guha is their best by some distance but the others all have a tendency to go off track. The other thing is I think they have too many voices. It might look good on a promo shot or media release listing all your names but sometimes less is better.
