He could join Fox & still do the Sunday footy show for 9. If u look at Jess Webster who does the AFLW segments for the Sunday footy show, she commentates AFLW on Fox. So it could be possible.
God I hope not. We donāt need this homophobe hosting anymore shows.
Definitely, but Lloyd is top talent and I wouldnāt be surprised if Fox want him exclusively depending on the money involved in the contract. I could see Lloyd appearing on programs such as On The Couch and AFL 360 in addition to commentating.
Heās also just not good talent.
Enjoyed him on Nine News Friday night telling us multiple times that he was estimating 1,000 people would turn up to the MCG for the Grand Finalā¦
I really donāt know why 9 picked him up, well considering recent events, I know exactly why they did, code of conduct means nothing at the place.
I was actually watching bits of this show, and itās just utter scripted hearsay. Absolute trash. Then you have the host, who comes across like an Ambulance chaser.
Tom would be better suited to Sky News.
Except for the fact that Fox Sports News is also owned by NewsCorp, who sacked him.
These people always find a way to slither back into a job even if itās a subsidiary. Iāve worked with too many of the types over the years.
If they couldnāt convince him to be in the studio for all episodes thatās probably for the best - I tried to watch a clip of something from the show (this one) and what I assume is the background noise of the slightly delayed feed that Leigh was listening to comes through, and made it impossible to keep going.
You can kinda tune it out for a guest, but especially with it being a āpanelā show, so you couldnāt really just mute Leighās mic until it was his time to talk.
Seven and Foxtel must surely be going after him again then, more likely on a casual/guest basis, given his age and location
