I thought LogInterval measured in minutes, is it seconds?
Do you have MinDistance set to 152 so it doesn’t log your local stations? Why’s that?
Should I do that?
Yes, it’s in minutes. I set it to half a day because melb_mateyy0 mentioned that my logs seemed spammy to him: AM and FM DX - #10809 by melb_mateyy0
Yes, I set it thus based on Melb_mateyy0’s comments.
Hi @ninkeon58 Somehow your Spectrum Plugin on your webserver has become corrupted within the last 24 hours or so.
Yes I noticed that this morning. I think it’s got something to do with the tunnel running on HTTPS. Haven’t got much time to investigate sadly, but I might try a server restart
My server is currently offline with Alfred looming large, antenna is down and packed away.
It seems to come and go, but for now it’s happy and working again. Unsure as to why it does that.
Just a couple of oz webserver observations noted this morning;
@tvcl - no RDS from your omni webserver (is this a new problem, or present from the start?)
@ninkeon58 - no tuning available atm
Fixed now.
I can also add; ‘no audio’ from the Brisbane webserver.
Unlocked. I have some parts on the way for a dedicated webserver, so I don’t have to lock the tuner when I want to listen to the radio through an Icecast stream running on the same server - locking it stops the scanner from kicking in.
My webserver is back online!

I have updated my webserver to a Headless unit purchased from TEF6686 Discord seller mc_popa. It took just over 12 days to come from Romania. Highly reccomend them if anyine is interested in upgrading. Only suggestion is as Postage is around 45euro you may want to consider doing a bulk purchase with some others to share costs if that is an oprion. I did that with Ryan who runs the Bunbury FM server. The unit comes as Plug and Play so simply configure the appropriat comm port and your servert is up and running.
The Dual FM and single MW antenna inputs is a bonus although I have not tested them to confirm functionality. Sensativety is exactly the same as the standalone TEF6686 radio. the biggest advantage forme is I no longer generate display or proccesser noise on my Webserver.
My next challange is to have it running onn a Rasbery Pi. I have a couple of freinds in Asia who want to setup webservers . I can then easily setup a complete Webserver kit for them with minimal hassles.
Ouch! was wondering how much postage was going to, might wait a bit to upgrade mine.
Ouch. My postage was only 22€.
Just bought one for my webserver, postage to Melbourne was 40 euros. With paypal fees and postage added up the total ended up being $242 AUD. Expensive, but worth it for me, especially considering that the current TEF on my omni directional webserver is dying.
Postage costs are why I ended up going down the kit route, plus I don’t mind building things as an excuse to get away from a computer
Mine was slightly cheaper. 100€ + 22€ for shipping, so about $212.
I was consdering getting a headless TEF for my Brisbane server so I can free up my TEF radio to actually use away from a browser. And I’ll have stereo output!
So if anyone else is considering buying one I’m happy to add an order to split the costs.
I’m assuming a 3D printer is needed? Hopefully this is successful.
I have nearly all of the hard to find parts (ESP32 and TEF tuner) to build up one. It’ll be a good Easter week project
