The first two episodes available on 7plus both went way beyond the scheduled 30 minutes including ads. Seven may as well give the show a whole hour.

How does 7 Perth change their schedule when Flashpoint airs compared to the rest of Australia?
7 Perth’s late light line-up is pushed back by at least 30 minutes until midnight, when Perth catches up with the rest of Australia.

Not to mention a big part of why this program exists in the first place is to use up excess resources that are no longer required at The West…

Hasn’t been mentioned on this thread anyway, but seems appropriate to acknowledge after TT’s axing that Flashpoint will be returning next year. So there is (sort of) some good news for local content on that front.

Chiara and David Clarson, who competed on House Rules season 6, were on the season finale on November 25, with David discussing his experiences as a fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) miner. The episode is still available on 7plus (the couple appeared in the first 3 1/2 minutes).
