Has anyone started watching Season 2 yet? I’ve just started episode 1, but I feel like they perhaps have labelled the episodes wrong…To me, it seems like Episode 2 is actually episode 1…
Was there a season 3 announced?
No, we will have to wait until perhaps 10’s 2022 upfronts to find out.
Also, is the show screened internationally on the same service?
The show is available on Peacock in the US, they (P+) might pick it up for other territories which they’re already in or will launch soon.
I think we may hear before then, it’ll be incentive for the audience to tune in as it’s been a while between seasons and they even delayed the premiere to wait for the launch of the service.
Also, the creator Michael Lucas posted on Twitter when the show was announced as moving to P+:
“All episodes, ad free, we’re a streaming show now. So it’s a shiny new address and we’re already planning extensions (read into that what you will…)”
Will be interesting to see what those extensions are.
It debuted on BBC One in Britain in March last year and on RTE2 in Ireland last month.
Not officially but Michael Lucas (creator) posted this on twitter a few months back.

I posted about this above earlier today, but I don’t know that his use of extensions necessarily means another season.
In saying that, I have no doubts there will be a third season - probably more beyond that too.
Oh sorry, you know I did see that earlier but just skipped my mind when scrolling through the thread.
I would say it’s a pretty strong wink toward a renewal.
Hopefully the seasons are slightly longer in future too. 8 episodes a season just feels so short, but I guess shorter seasons are the norm these days.
Kat Stewart said on The Project tonight they are filming season 3 right now. She did the cross from the production office on the Melbourne set.
Great news. Good they decided not to keep it a secret and Kat revealed it tonight.
Season 2 premieres on Peacock in the US next Thursday, August 19.
When You’re Hot, You’re Hot.
Filming Commences On Season Three Of Paramount+ Original Five Bedrooms.
The superb Five Bedrooms ensemble cast have found their home on Paramount+, and they have no plans to return the key.
There’s so much more to come for our flawed, disparate housemates; Liz (Kat Stewart), Ben (Stephen Peacocke), Heather (Doris Younane), Harry (Roy Joseph) and Ainsley (Katie Robertson), and we are proud to announce that season three of Five Bedrooms , is currently in production.
This life affirming, drama-comedy series tells the story of a group of very different people, from very different backgrounds, at very different stages of life, all living under the one roof.
Five Bedrooms creator and writer Michael Lucas said: “We are so ridiculously invested in these five characters, we simply can’t stop imagining funny, fraught, tragic, joyful situations to put them in. So, we are beyond delighted that we’ve been given a third season to run wild with them again, and we’re delighted to report that the cast have come out of the gates in best-ever form!”
Doris Younane said: “I’ve been in the industry for 35 years and these are the best scripts I’ve read. There’s so much love in season three, so much heart, and the comedy comes from the drama; it’s beautifully positioned. For me, this is great love and I want it to never stop. I’d like to be in a nursing home still shooting Five Bedrooms .”
Five Bedrooms has commenced filming in Melbourne and is produced by Hoodlum Entertainment for Paramount+. Developed and produced with support from Film Victoria, and assistance from Screen Australia.
How many episodes are in each series?
Season 1 and 2 each has eight episodes.
Right, so we can expect another 8 episodes for series 3. Bringing the total to 24.
S2 has landed on streaming service Neon in New Zealand today.
