Does the Fetch mini box work over home Wi-Fi or does it need to be connected to your home broadband via a cable?

Works at home over WiFi but you can connect to your home broadband.

Good lord Optus :face_with_hand_over_mouth: It’s actually impressive how badly they’ve mangled this.

What everyone else is saying is probably a coverup.

Optus is famous for stuffing up video streams

Thank the lord.

I am not very happy about the Optus Service. It is a disgrace.

Alright, put down the tinfoil hat. If it can be explained by sheer incompetence, then it probably is.

Seems like the only way to prevent this happening again is to put the World Cup back on the anti-siphoning list.

Thank you Twitter for reminding us that Optus falling to bits was predicted years ago…

18 JUNE MEDIA STATEMENT - 2018 FIFA WORLD CUP

https://www.optus.com.au/about/media-centre/media-releases/2018/0511/18-june-media-statement-2018-fifa-world-cup

Not good enough… should be all matches.

If the AFR is to believed sbs paid $20 million for the rights and Optus paid $8m for the sub license. Not really a decent deal at all. After all the bad press you’d think they’d just give sbs the rights back in a simulcast arrangement.

What a mess! Glad something’s been agreed on (although only short term) for all the fans. SBS will also be smiling with Sweden vs. Korea Republic match.

Not just that but SBS also included the Belgium v Panama match as well as Poland v Senegal and Russia v Egypt matches.

Of course, tonight’s match is in prime time though which is a coup I’d reckon
