FIFA Women's World Cup 2023

I would say they’ve searched for the game on 10 Play, not realising it’s on Seven, and found the replay of that game.

Yep, and given the demographic watching with Barnaby (based off his Facebook videos) I’m surprised they were able to do that!

Spain are the first team into the Women’s World Cup Final!

A crazy last 8-9 minutes of regulation time, after 81 goalless minutes, THREE goals at the end got Spain into the final 2-1 over Sweden.

Too much arrogance talking about public holidays when we just needed to focus on tonight’s game…

It will be Spain v England in the Women’s World Cup final in Sydney on Sunday, with the Lionesses beating the Matildas 3-1. It’s third time lucky for the reigning European champions after losing WWC semi-finals in 2015 and 2019. For both teams it will be their first appearance in the title decider.

After Sam Kerr equalised for Australia, England scored two more goals within a 15-minute period to seal the win.

The Matildas must regroup quickly to face Sweden in the third place play-off in Brisbane on Saturday evening.

Australia had a fantastic tournament so far on home soil. Sadly, we didn’t get the victory we needed. (Sorry, the one-off public holiday is over). However at least we will play against Sweden in the 3rd place Playoff. Samantha Kerr scored the only goal for tonight England on the other hand, played wonderful tonight. So Sunday will be an England v Spain Final.
Who will win the World Cup Final?
