Saw this promo. Interesting how it uses the old ITV News theme from around 2001

The ITV News themes are all library, so anyone can use them. I’ve heard them in loads of things over the years, even some video games.

Zero Day… No, the other one from Taiwan, which details the fright and dillemma of the island being invaded by China. Coming to their public broadcaster, PTS, in August.

From the full trailer a year ago:

Local news channel FTN, the Future Televison News/Network.

Thought it looked similar to mNews, the actual news network from the Mirror Magazine (and whose launch was already controversial). Turns out they’re probabaly using their exact set - look at the desk!

The round of world news, claimed to be largely from Japan (JAN - I assume that’s ANN?), S Korea (HBS - KBS) and the US (MHK - the former CNN supers), but the old DW graphics slipped in for some reason. The last one was CCN from Beijing (when the island got their signals covered in the series).

From the PTS trailer this week:

The round of other local news channels, and an FTN stand up shot.
