I do not use Fetch now. It’s unusable. Using Apple TV instead

Thats a bit drastic. Its my main machine and i use it daily for FTA live and recorded tv.

I read the thread. I thought u were referring the tv guide issue noted and the tv guide on the remote as 2 issues. Which they arent.
Yeah, that’s kind of what I was getting at. I read that as well so I’m not too sure what it was about. You may be able to tell from one of the replies I posted.

Our Fetch box upgraded to new release today and I was greeted with this monstrosity in my recordings. Looks like something from tongue in cheek mocks circa 2016

WIN could do a deal and have a 24/7 WIN News channel on Fetch. Or any IPTV service really.
Just have all the bulletins repeated every 3 hours until the next day.
Just use the local news channel(s) from VAST and call it a day?

That too. But I reckon you could reconfigure the VAST channels too. But that’s for another thread.
4.2.2 Eagle Bay
I’ve had the box for 20 months now. For the past year, it worked well then all of a sudden I had to keep turning it off and back on again to make it work. It forgets to record shows. It records a program then records for 15 hours! The same show gets deleted every day and it comes back again. Finally emailed Fetch, they suggested factory reset. No change! I go back to them. They then suggested the internet connection was unstable. I reminded them I had it for a year before it went stupid with no problems with the exact same set-up. They cannot explain anything more. So apparently it’s my fault! Useless!
I’ve been doing this for just over 12 months now. I do probably overdo it abit but because I have been doing it for so long I have essentially bypassed a lot of the issues that come up. I did have some here and there a while ago but that’s how it all started.
