I think they need a significant promotion And marketing campaign to get the brand out the there and sell
What it is they offer exactly

No one seems to really know either…

They have a good value propersition. But it’s confusing and no one knows about it

They used to, I’m not so sure anymore and if they lose any more content they’ll fade into insignificance faster

The need to use their hardware is a big turn off (it doesn’t help that the hardware isn’t great either) - why would I buy a Fetch box when I can buy a decent quality android or apple tv and potentially access more content

They need to make it clearer you don’t have to be with one of their ISP partners to access it either - my parents had trouble replacing their fetch box because the guy at JB HiFi was under the mistaken impression that you needed to be with one of about 6 isps to access the service, despite being told they already have a box they are simply replacing it

Yeah, Fetch hasn’t done a good job filling the hole left by all of the channels/content it has lost over the past few years.

Should have just bought it online. I bought a new Fetch Mini online on Sunday night and they delivered it to my home Tuesday morning. No charge for delivery.

PS. They had a special deal $149 (usually $169). If anyone else wants to buy one in the next couple of weeks, send me a message and I can give you the discount code.

Fetch app on Apple TV without the need for hardware would be nice.

True, but I think it would take away the incentive to buy a box though.

frankly the box is the weak link - allowing people to access the service without the box may provide a considerable subscriber boost.

The box is the reason I chose Fetch, gives me the ability to record and watch programs like MasterChef, survivor, I’m a celeb on 30 minute time delay avoiding the ads but still watching same day avoiding spoilers

It shows the state of the PVR market in this country - it’s a shame that TiVo failed, it worked extremely well

TiVo was a partnership with 7 IRRC.

I forgot the second half of my comment….

Out of interest, how would you like the box improved? Speed, functionality or something else?

Spike’s last day on Fetch will be February 28.

ViacomCBS should make this a vertical channel available on P+ if it’s being dropped altogether and won’t be available elsewhere in Australia.

The programming is/will be available on 10Play, P+ and other channels anyway.

Does Fetch still carry RT? If so, why?

Shocked that it’s still on Freeview in the UK.

No.

They’ve never carried it. It’s on Foxtel.

Fetch had CNN which became exclusive to Foxtel in April last year.

Fair call I thought I remembered seeing it

It would be good if Fetch had Sky News UK, as it’s now owned by Comcast. PBS America would also be good to have on Fetch.
