Tony Abbott looks like he will lose his seat.

Iā€™m not sure who will beat who! eh? but Iā€™m betting itā€™s going to be a close call despite everyone thinking Labor is going to take it!

If Shorten loses this election, he would be and should be gone from ALP leadership. He has had six years to at least beat the LNP.

Yep, if Labor lose tonight then it will be down to Bill Shortenā€™s lack of popularity. Could have been a landslide victory with a more popular leader.

they should have selected Albo ages ago not Shorten!

I donā€™t see the ALP winning. Minority is a slight chance.

Same here. Slow-Mo and his goons to retain power by the looks of it. But with WA counting begun anything could happen. If they do lose I do agree he should step down and make way for a more well versed and likeable leader.

These exit polls that projected a labor win federally was premature, I donā€™t understand how you can make these sorts of predictions.

It will be a hung parliament. Its just a question of who can convince who. Could Sharkie work with Labor?

Something has gone horribly wrong for Shorten and the ALP.

WA votes still need to be counted.

He had. Good riddance! He was so behind the times.

This has surprised me. Iā€™m saying hung parliament.

Goodbye to Tony Abbott!

yeah

Thatā€™s very true. But Cowan has a 3.3% swing against it, so itā€™s rather tight and it could go to Local liberal candidate. Christian Porter would at the say will still have his seat, as traditionally itā€™s been a liberal seat in his area. I donā€™t see labor taking that seat at all.

Not really, for me, it was always going to be tight.

Iā€™m happy with Abbott losing his seat! YAY! Thatā€™s one highlight i can jump over cows for!

What?

I canā€™t believe people were predicting 80+ seats for the ALP. How wrong they were. They had ScoMo at $7 to win the Election.

Lot of bookies were paying out on a Labor win as well

It is laughable! lol :stuck_out_tongue: I wonder how many pundits put on $2,000 for a labor win! I donā€™t even see a hung parliament, I see a nail biter, probably wonā€™t know for sure the actual results to maybe tomorrow Monday. With my state W.A just recently started counts, it could change things, but I donā€™t see that and I would ahve just won myself on monday a cup of coffee :stuck_out_tongue: if this plays out how I think it will.

Iā€™ll be happy to see no Pauline Hanson or Clive Palmer in the senate.

Mr Abbott has lost his seat and he deserves it
