Correct that’s what I’m saying plus Maccas has yellow covered.

So Maccas is gaudy. Gotcha. And Burger King/Hungry Jack’s don’t want to copy their colours except they do want to make similar looking and sounding burgers like the Big Jack.

Let’s be honest, Hungry Jacks is to McDonalds what Pepsi is to Coke. Always the perennial #2 trying to convince us they’re better, somehow with worse ad campaigns (well I certainly think Coke & Maccas usually have very good ads, unlike Pepsi & HJs) than the market leader.

I agree with this, HJ’s 2nd to Maccas (always felt that way when I worker there for 10 years) but the HJ’s burgers are much better quality.

Nope, HJs is so much better than Maccas. Better chips, better burgers, better nuggets and the storm is a whole lot better than McFlurry.
Take the quarter pounder, tastes like nothing. Too much cheese and classically underwhelming, whereas the Bacon Deluxe, yes it’s not got that much sauce and cheese is a bit too much, but the meat tastes like meat.
I feel Maccas is highly overrated (Except for the one in Engadine, for obvious reasons)
KFC is probably the best of the big fast food chain, but probably just because they do one meat only.

But it’s changed so much lately. No oatbran bun. Different chicken patty. Only thing the same is the ranch sauce. Shame.
My local KFC is relatively new and I’ve noticed the chicken is not as oily as before. Some restaurants I’ve been to it can be a mixed bag with oiliness.

Well Pepsi is also better than Coke - so I think the point was clearly that the 2nd place position is always the better product and the consumer is wrong…
Bacon Deluxe is hands down the best fast food burger. Plus HJs have onion rings!

yea, if only HJs had the Pepsi/Schweppes range instead of the crappy coke. Pepsi is also just better. don’t get me started on all the flavours (i could do a tier list if i wanted to on them)

Roxburgh Park HJ are 24 hours on Fri/Sat, not too sure about Sun.

IMO the current HJ’s logo looks fine. It’s simple, does the job. None of this swooshy bull that they tried to introduce in 2000. It’s only because of that court fight between BK and HJ that they didn’t progress to the new logo.
They did commission the new logo, but never proceeded.

I’m a Coke No Sugar person too.
But for fries, personally I prefer KFC’s to either McDonald’s or Hungry Jacks.
The HJ burgers are great, but I think their fries are pretty ordinary, they just taste a bit bland to me.
Are buffets allowed back in NSW? I could go a buffet.
One things for sure I prefer Coke Zero over Coke No Sugar, that’s for sure.
