Family Feud

More cracks to fill. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Surely this show is back for good? Spending money on a set in these times just for a 10 Episode special seems odd. The show is missed in our household.

Probably depends how it rates. If it gets between 300-400k again that’s not viable.

Set looks great from that video, nice refresh.

Maybe they could air new eps on Saturday nights, given they’ve gone to the effort of a new set? The whole family fun thing could work for a certain type of audience, have them on at 6pm (should probably be 7) if they’re not going to put extended news or any current affairs there. Not sure this is the answer, but that timeslot is crying out for new content.

Agreed! Very nice set. I found the “renovated” one that they last had was tacky. This one looks really modern and great!

Family Feud Premieres Tuesday, 18 August At 7.30pm.

Survey Says, We’ve Got A Date!

Our frontline and emergency workers have helped keep Australia together over what has been an incredibly tough couple of months. And from Tuesday, 18 August at 7.30pm, Family Feud is returning the favour.

It may be sunny outside, but over at Family Feud HQ, TV Week Gold Logie Award-winning host Grant Denyer, is ready to make it rain with a whopping $100,000 up for grabs.

So join us to celebrate Australia’s nurses, teachers, firies and farmers in this very special television event, and back them to take home the game’s biggest ever cash prize.

Already moving The Masked Singer? Ugh. 10.

The set looks cool in that pic.

So I assume the schedule will be The Masked Singer Sun/Mon, Family Feud - Tues and The Bachelor - Wed/Thur.

I don’t think too many people will remember it was on Mon/Tues last year, it will work better as a stronger product to launch their week on Sundays IMO if that’s what they go with as I predict above.

I meant that its starting Monday 10 August and airing Tuesday now that FF is airing Tuesdays means TMS will move to Sunday and Monday. Just messy.

Set looks nicer and similar to the US version

At least 6 nights of new Australian content at 7:30pm. Not really watchable but at least it is something.

Sandwiching this in between The Masked Singer and The Bachelor helps break up the Osher fest a bit as well so that’s something.

I wonder if 10 should move The Bachelor to Tuesday/Wednesday and have Family Feud on Thursdays. They could potentially use Thursdays as a Factual/light entertainment night all year round next year and stretch out the week runs of franchises like Survivor.

Shows like The Bachelor do better on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Have they ever aired on Tuesdays though besides Paradise.

I think they did try it at some stage. I remember having the discussion before. Bachelor in Paradise would have done a lot on Wednesdays and Thursdays away from other reality competition.

You are probably right they do do better Wednesday/Thursday. But I wonder if the increase on Tuesday (by moving The Bachelor to that night) would outweigh the loss on a Thursday by moving it to Tuesdays.

It will no longer happen. 10 has decided to move Family Feud to Sundays, and kept The Masked Singer on Mondays and Tuesdays. This starts next week.

Silly programming decision, which will leave Family Feud as fodder against the weekly reveal episodes of The Block, while viewers will see Osher for four nights straight for the next two months.

New Sunday promo, looks good except for the cheap looking buzzer - I would’ve removed that.

Also, this seems to have gone largely unnoticed but Grant and his wife Chezzi are expecting their 3rd child in March next year.

Yeah, surely anything would have been better than that!
