Family Feud

I agree with everyone who’s saying that Family Feud has run it’s course and should be axed (well, it probably should’ve been about a year ago but anyway).

I don’t think there are too many TV networks/programs that didn’t want to rate well in 2018!

I agree but i can understand the logic. CBS had only just taken over. An axing of the show would have been dealt with harshly in the media.

Has The Simpsons on 7 been a ratings hit?? No…well get over it! Family Fued was overcooked. Too many celebrity specials!

And also 6 episodes a week for 50 weeks out of 52 weeks in the year.

It has done very well in the key demos on 7mate, which is what Seven would care about.

Should’ve got Broughy to host again.

No doubt that they will show repeats from the start of Tens series once production halts and it will be like it was never halted :joy:

Only tricky thing with that is the old set will be noticeable and viewers will know it’s from way back. But then they can’t just go back so the start of the new set either, because that was only a few months ago.

And surprise… another celebrity special…

Grant confirmed the show was “wrapping up”’ this morning.

Denyer added they were resting the show to allow him to work on “big new projects”.

A Ten spokesperson:

“It will be put on hold later this year and we will be announcing an exciting new game show very soon. We will also have some exciting news about Grant Denyer’s new show on Ten soon.”

Well what is success then? Don’t tell me it’s Simpsons/Neighbours.

You know he only has a one track mind.

Tragic that the midget community has lost another representation on Australian television.

Farewell FF, you won’t be missed.

So by reading the article, Grant will be hosting another show? Not necessarily the new game show?
