Game Pass it is then for the whole season. Signed up for $290 at the start of the year. Money well spent.

I suspect this might be a deliberate “initiative” to encourage diehard fans outside the US to sign up for GamePass (especially since this pass is available worldwide except the USA and China, and they advertise having the “authentic American feed” as a key feature).
I note that this new “world feed” is going out to other international broadcasters such as Sky Sports UK as well, and this feed was seen on both 7 and ESPN for this morning’s game.
Remains to be seen if they do the same for all of the Sunday afternoon games that Fox/CBS air, and will be interesting to see what feed ESPN here will take for Monday Night Football (given that ESPN typically simulcasts US coverage/graphics where they can such as formerly with the US Open tennis).

I bought NFL Game Pass on DAZN because I got a bit of a discount from the monthly payment plan just before the season. Looks like that was a good decision, lol.

The commentary is the same as original feed. So I don’t think it’s that bad is it?

Some graphical presentation elements are missing - especially graphics explaining stats and backstories.

Purchased a discount before Christmas last year to try it out and was impressed with it so this is the route for me aa an avid fan

The CBS game on ESPN is world feed, but the two FOX games on ESPN2 and 7mate are domestic feed.

I really don’t see the point of producing this world feed when it’s taking the same commentary, they’re taking some promo graphics and not others, and not managing to mute the commentators during most promo reads (the one where Kevin Harlan got faded out and in and out and in again during the promo for next week’s CBS games was very amusing). And then you get to half time and get the full CBS half time show anyway.

So what’s the point? It can’t be to strip gambling advertising from the feed because if it was, FOX would have to go world feed with all of their FOX|BET tie-ins. The theory above about frustrating viewers so they buy game pass seems to make sense given nothing else makes sense…but then why not the Fox games? Did FOX refuse to participate?

Just baffling.

And now the late timeslot, both ESPN and 7mate taking a FOX game, and both have the world feed.

I give up trying to make any sense of this.

To no surprise - Monday Night Football is the ESPN US feed.

DAZN is your best bet.

A Wild Card game on peacock had the world feed earlier this year briefly when audio was cut from the main peacock feed

DAZN have improved their website in the off-season. I found it frustratingly clunky and a memory hog last season compared to the old NFL-owned GamePass to the point where I just didn’t bother using it in many weeks, but the world feed on Australian broadcast combined with a more usable DAZN website is tipping me back towards DAZN.

It is weird though that the replays and minis on ESPN are almost all off the domestic broadcast and not the world feed, although some of the minis seems to chop and change feed from one play to the next at times.

NBL: New Zealand broadcast details revealed

All Breakers games in the upcoming Hungry Jack’s NBL season will be available on both ESPN and TVNZ platforms for New Zealand Breakers fans to enjoy.

New Zealand viewers can catch every game of the Hungry Jack’s NBL season on ESPN.

Additionally, TVNZ will be the free-to-air home of the Breakers and will feature their regular season games on a combination of TVNZ+, where fans can watch all games live, and TVNZ channels.

“This year is already shaping as one of the most exciting and unpredictable in recent history, and for the Breakers, with a new coach and many new faces on their roster, we anticipate there’ll be a lot of interest in their season,” NBL Chief Strategic Partnerships and Investment Officer, Brad Joyner, said.

Breakers CEO, Lisa Edser, said she was excited about Breakers basketball being widely accessible to all Kiwi fans.

“We are thrilled for TVNZ to bring our games live and free to fans all over New Zealand. Our supporters are the heartbeat of our club, and this partnership will allow more of them to engage with the team than ever before,” Edser said.

“Basketball is a sport that brings people together and it’s important for us to have our games widely accessible, especially for the next generation of fans. We want to build a legacy that goes beyond the court and into communities across New Zealand.”

“The BNZ Breakers have a wide and passionate fan base across Aotearoa, and we’re delighted to be bringing all of their on-court action this season to Kiwi viewers live and free," TVNZ CEO Jodi O’Donnell said.

“With almost 15.4 million streams on the TVNZ+ sports hub in its first year, it’s clear that there’s a massive appetite for live and free sport in New Zealand. When you combine our digital audience with the unmatched reach of TVNZ’s broadcast channels, this new partnership will give more Kiwis the opportunity to be inspired by some of the most exciting and talented basketball players in the country.”

“ESPN is excited to bring the 2024/25 season of NBL and Breakers action to New Zealand basketball fans. For the first time, all NBL games will be on ESPN in New Zealand and available through Sky Box, Sky Pod, Sky Go and Sky Sport Now,” Senior Vice President and Managing Director of The Walt Disney Company Australia and New Zealand and Head of ESPN for Asia Pacific, Kylie Watson-Wheeler, said.

The 2024/25 Hungry Jack’s NBL Season begins in Perth with the inaugural HoopsFest from September 19-22. The season opener will be a Championship Series re-match between Melbourne United and the Tasmania JackJumpers at 8:30pm AEST at RAC Arena on Thursday, September 19.

The New Zealand Breakers’ first game of NBL25 tips-off on Saturday, September 21 against the Brisbane Bullets. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN and TVNZ+.

Interesting that ESPN was using the international feed for SNF (Bears-Texans, W2) for like 2 quarters, and now have switched to the NBC feed in the 3rd.
