Death of Pope Francis/Election of Pope Leo XIV - Media Coverage

Will be interesting given he appointed many like minded cardinals from Africa and Asia. Let’s hope it’s no one from the US.

We’ll obviously be getting some rolling coverage tonight and then of the funeral.

Surely they have to dump the vitriol of Sky after dark to run some respectful rolling coverage.

And the election of a new Pope

Anything from 10 Adelaide given they’re live currently?

Will be interesting to see how the Project cover this given their target audience to be less religious than elsewhere.

I get that these stories are in the can but that was pretty quick from Seven in Sydney considering the news looks like it was released from the Vatican at 5:58pm AEST. The breaking news graphics/run down/ autocue and announcement from Mark Ferguson was all prepared in 2 minutes for 6pm?

Very quick for Seven News. But kudos for the very well made package. Chris Reason did the report, then joined the desk to speak about what happens next. For Sydney.
