Does This Golden Girl’s Gold Suitcase Hold $100,000?
Deal Or No Deal Welcomes The World’s Oldest Player!
It’s one for the history books when Peggy Tucker takes on the banker, making Deal or No Deal history as the world’s oldest player when she takes the stage on Monday, 31 March at 6pm.
At 104 years young, Peggy is hoping to win big so she can finally live out her dream of going hot air ballooning. But before she soars to the skies, Peggy will need to take on the ultimate thrill of selecting her suitcase.
Joined in the studio by her bingo bestie Barb and under the guidance of beloved host and TV Week Gold Logie winner Grant Denyer, Peggy is hoping luck will be on her side… and that the Banker is in a generous mood!
This will be one for the ages!
Deal Or No Deal. Weeknights At 6pm On 10 And 10 Play.
Grant had paid tribute to the crew following the completion of filming of the 195 episodes, saying he couldn’t wait to start shooting the 2026 season episodes soon.
It was a great episode tonight. Peggy briefly mentioned that she got married in 1943, in the middle of World War II. She has an extraordinary life.
Peggy rode her luck until there were three cases left: $5,000, $10,000 and $100,000. Peggy refuted a bank offer of more than $18,000 and guessed one more case, and unfortunately the top amount was revealed. She accepted the bank offer of $7500.
It was such a heartwarming episode tonight with 104 year old Peggy playing. I found it insulting and cruel that the banker kept decreasing the bank offers after the 1st round when she eliminated 1 green each round.
Tonight I was at my Nana’s for dinner with my household and we watched tonight’s episode over Nine News. I had high hopes that she’d win the $100,000, unfortunately that wasn’t the case (no pun intended).
In New Zealand, Screenscribe reports that DOND will be shown on TVNZ 2 at 6pm weeknights (same timeslot as Australia) from Apri 21. Currently it screens at 4.30pm weekdays on TVNZ 1.
[The contestant had a strategy of choosing cases going from the highest number to the lowest and when he got to his case (case 12) he’d have the $10,000. He started up the top with 22 and then went down to 1. When he chose case 21 on his 3rd pick in the 1st round the $100,000 was eliminated. Later in the game he was going to choose his wife on case 8, but insisted on leaving her to the end. When he got down to the last 3 cases he had $1, $750 and $75,000 in play. He picked his wife on case 8 to open up her case which was a huge mistake as she had $75,000. The contestant played all the way to the end and had $750 in his case.
However the contestant wasn’t done yet as he was offered the opportunity to Steal The Deal. He chose to do so and went with case 3 as the meaning behind his case (case 12) which his wife said put 2 and 1 together and 2+1=3. Case 3 had $15,000. A great end to the game.

Will the Banker serve this chef a deal worth taking?
I was in the audience in tonight’s episode. Halfway through the episode I didn’t think I was going to be shown in a closeup shot, but I was at the last minute in the nick of time. These screenshots are where Ph Ling Yeow had $40,000 in her case after taking a deal of $6,888.
