Remarkably there was only one correct guess in tonight’s Celebrity Jackpot episode, and it happened right at the end with two cases remaining and well after Darcy accepted the bank offer.
Overall, more than $36,000 was raised for the Man Cave, including the only correct guess ($1000) and $500 for Darcy correctly saying the jumper numbers of five of his teammates.

It’s a joyous MasterChef Australia reunion, as Andy and Sofia have rallied 25 MasterChef Australia alumni into the podium for moral support, including the likes of past winners Sashi Cheliah, Emelia Jackson, Justin Narayan and Brent Draper.

Apparently, this episode has been timed to coincide with the MND Victoria fundraising dinner which is also held tonight. Sofia has designed and produced a special chef’s knife to be auctioned during the function.

It was a topsy-turvy episode tonight.
3/4 through the episode, Sofia and Andy lost all the cases containing the five biggest amounts of money including the $200,000 case, and the maximum amount left was $20,000. At one stage, the banker’s offer was down to $2000. However Sofia and Andy stuck to the end, and helped by some correct guesses by MasterChef alumni, the duo won $32,000 ($20,000 in case 3 + seven correct guesses worth $7,000 + Sofia correctly guessing five MC winners who were in the studio and winning $5,000).
Then came a big twist. The banker offered a dare that if either Sofia or Andy had a bite of one of the three hottest chilies, they would receive a set amount of money for MND Victoria. Andy had two bites of the Trinidad chili and earned $32,000, pushing the grand total raised to $64,000.

Tomorrow I’m going to the auditions. If I’m selected to play and win up to $20,000 I want to buy a new car that has Bluetooth and a tow bar adapter.
