Deal or No Deal

I thought tonight’s contestant looked familiar!

Sam appeared in the pilot episode and promos for Tipping Point

And was also on the Seven version of Deal Or No Deal.

It is common for contestants to appear across two game shows, and in this prominent case of Graham K Furness, his appearance on The Chase Australia in 2019 came eighteen years after he appeared on The Weakest Link in 2001.

I should also mention that I’ve applied to be on Deal Or No Deal

So he won $150 on the Seven version, tonight he won almost $6,000.

I think 10 should air one hour of the American version of Deal or No Deal from four o’clock. This could be a good lead into 10 News First.

10 messed with the 4-5pm timeslot not too long ago, and it didn’t go well.

They’d be mad to tinker with it again, and don’t think more DOND is the answer.

TVNZ 1 is adding another repeat as a replacement for a 1 News Tonight bulletin as will end this Friday. So TVNZ 1 in New Zealand is airing Deal Or No Deal Australia three times at repeat screening at 12pm, new episodes at 4:30 as a lead in to The Chase and finally 10:30 something that your broadcaster Network 10 would never do

Have you seen how many times 10 encores these episodes over the course of the week? :joy:

What an incredible game last night

Timeslot?

7.30pm

Are they removing it from 6pm or having a separate “Celebrity Edition” (etc) at 7.30pm? An hour?

Seperate show. Celebrity version, not 100% sure on duration yet.

I’ll punt on it being an hour like the Family Feud specials were - but I do wish they’d keep it at a tight 30 minute format.

This is Going to be a Very Interesting Year of Fun and Excitement with Grant Denyer in 2024 this year for Primetime.

They still haven’t learned from Family Feud? Beat the Chasers was also a flop. Not a good call

This Is Very Exciting
