Dancing with the Stars

Great Idea.

The ratings have been down, though, in his absence.

Denise Scott has been great on the show as a host. I would love to see an all female hosting lineup.

MAFS has also been heading towards a big conclusion. I’d say that’s a bigger factor.

TVTonight is reporting that Denyer is back to filming “Celebrity Name Game”, so I assume he would be back next week on DWTS?

EDIT: new promo shown tonight says there are two more episodes to go in this season. If the grand final is still on Tuesday April 23, what happens on Easter Monday?

I’m confused when did they say the finale would be on Tuesday the 23rd?

Olympia Valance said it in a radio interview nearly two months ago.

That is such a random day to have it on after the show has been on Monday’s this whole time.

Public holiday? Easter Monday.

Yes but isn’t there normally more viewers available on that last day of the public holiday?

I agree with you.

Just pointing out why is all.

Maybe she got the date wrong?

I think the original plan (before Jimmy’s withdrawal) was to have the final three couples dancing on Easter Monday, then the next night all teams return for special performances, and the winning couple is crowned.

How has that changed though? They had no elimination with jimmys departure

Perhaps. Maybe she was thinking of the first day she was free after the finale.

Grant Denyer has told the Sunday Herald Sun of extreme measures he is taking in order to appear on Monday’s semi final. He had an injection of Cortisone and also lied down on the floor instead of sitting during script meetings. I wonder if he will sit a lot during the show.

How so?

He has an odd intensity about him (well that’s my opinion anyway).

Samuel mentioned on DWTS a few weeks ago that he has a “mental illness”, so maybe there’s no need to comment further as I’m sure this would explain his behavior.

It’s 100% true but it’s not something he’s dealing with just right now, he’s had problems all his life. So why shouldn’t he be on tv? Don’t you think your statement is a bit “Duttonesque”?
