West Indies cricket board has always had an element of dysfunctionality. That exceptionally good team and group of players they had in the 70s and 80s just wallpapered over the cracks to a degree. Not only that plenty of them played County Cricket in England and that was their bread and butter.
Weâre fucked.
Donât give up just yet. Itâs just one over.
The way theyâre whacking it, my point stands.
shiiiiit
Agar and McAndrew are just chucking pies at them. Fucking hopeless.
sure looks like theyâve given up
Yeah, too many in the slot not enough full and wide or slower balls.
Finally they get a wicket. Now get 9 more of those.
Long time no post in here - donât have time to catch up, too busy watching the Cane Train going express all the way to BBL14 champions!
How good is this!
Itâs shithouse.
Always good seeing a Sydney team on the verge of losing.
Equal fastest 100 in BBL history⌠100 off 39⌠well done Mitch Owen!
If this was the NRL, or the Sixers, Iâd agree.
This is a choke job. I know weâve had injuries and losing Konstas to rep duty didnât help, but still, they couldâve done a hell of a lot better.
Well done Mitch Owen, what a knock.
The fielding has been shocking.
The Hurricanes deserves the win and the title. We served it to them on a platter and they well and truly gobbled it up.
And that they won with nearly 6 overs to spare. If they were batting first, the Thunder could have been chasing 250.
All of which leaves the Stars as the only team not to win a BBL title yet. Somewhst ironic as they were originally launched as a âglamourâ club with Eddie McGuire as President and Shane Warne as their star recruit.
The Hurricanes stormed out of the gates with a 23 run first over, and never looked back.
A huge turnaround from their season opener when they were bowled out for 75 by the Renegades.
I was hoping they wouldnât win a game this year at all.
well done Canes, bring on next season (oh and the footy season).
i was confused for a moment at whoâs hands those were
