I’ll be very surprised if they get the full 40 overs in tonight though.

We wont get a result tonight. A lot of us spectators left after the 2nd stoppage. Im on my way home now, considering I’m going to Newy tomorrow.
Fascinating no foxtel, not complaining though, when was the last time a FTA got the rights to a test series thats overseas besides the Ashes. The 90s ? Australia vs West Indies on Ten? They even will bring the one dayers which are not on FTA in Australia!

In that case, with just a few games to go, it would mean the top 3 places are set… 1st - Hurricanes, 2nd - Sixers, 3rd - Thunder.
The Renegades v Heat and Stars v Hurricanes games likely to decide 4th spot.

For those missing the cricket quite an interesting test match over Pakistan. At least the pitch isn’t a road like it has been before with bowlers getting a bit of help. 4 for 69 Pakistan is at the moment.

Totally agree, i’s been compelling Test match cricket so far and very watchable. A nice partnership building up now, some very good batting against spin bowling.

Stars have a finals berth to play for, meantime Hobart have nothing to play for. Hence David opening the bowling, half assed efforts in tbe field, Bean spraying wides.

5/219 off their 20. 83 runs off the final 5 overs. Half centuries to Webster and Maxwell.
Can’t see the Canes chasing this down at the G.
The Stars beat the Hurricanes by 40 runs and qualified for the finals. A huge turnaround for the Stars considering they lost their first five games of the season.
Mark Steketee was the leading wicket taker with 4/24 but Maxwell was player of the match for his score of 76 not out.

A well deserved captaincy for Jasprit in the World Test XI. He’s a pretty amazing player, to be the man of the series here in Australia, in a losing series mind, 32 wickets - that’s pretty incredible. Jaiswal is certainly a rising star and so beautiful to watch. Harry Brook an absolute runs machine, along with Kane Williamson (who deserves to be in the world XI across all forms of the game). Oh and Matt Henry - who absolutely tore through the Indians in India in the Black Caps three-zip series victory.
