With Hobart going into a 3 day lockdown from 6pm tonight, I wonder what happens to the WBBL games planned for the weekend at Blundstone.

This will affect the current WBBL season, although whether it just means no crowds, or if matches are postponed is unknown.

Perth Scorchers have tweeted they have postponed the women’s team’s trip to Hobart for 24 hours. They are scheduled to play Brisbane Heat on Sunday.

Given UTAS Stadium in Launceston will host WBBL matches next week, if the ground is ready they can move the matches from Hobart.
