Its debut clashes with the final week of this season of The Block. Hope it rates well.

Interesting time, I assume this is a weekly show?

Correct. In the press release when it was announced it says:

Network Ten is delighted to announce it has commissioned CRAM, an innovative and funny new weekly game show that will launch on TEN and WIN Network later this year.

A little surprised this is airing 7:30pm Tuesdays, I kind of assumed that it would be for 6:00 or 6:30pm Sundays (prior to the Sunday Project being announced) and then thought the above could mean that they had committed to a year round 40 week show that would air at 8:30pm on a given weeknight… Not the right thread to discuss this but I have to wonder what their plan is for Sunday & Mondays is after Survivor finishes in a week or so.

From TEN:

Australia: Get Ready To CRAM.

Premieres Tuesday, 17 October At 7.30pm. Only On TEN And WIN Network.

Network Ten’s hilarious and unpredictable new game show, CRAM, will premiere on Tuesday, 17 October at 7.30pm, only on TEN and WIN Network.

Hosted by comedian, TV Week Gold Logie nominee, children’s book author and star of The Project, Pete Helliar, CRAM sees Pete guide two teams of comedians and celebrities as they test their memories across a series of general knowledge categories.

Each category will be introduced with a “cram”: a brief video on any subject from dogs to Leonardo da Vinci, jeans to Justin Bieber.

The teams will be captained by acclaimed comedian Dilruk Jayasinha (Utopia) and actor and singer Virginia Gay (All Saints, Winners & Losers).

Divided into two teams of three, the comedians and celebrities will attempt to recall all the facts in the videos. The team that recalls the most facts is the winner.

Pete Helliar said: “I am thrilled to be hosting the exciting new television quiz, panel, game, fantasy, family-drama, comedy CRAM. It’s something I wasn’t expecting but as soon as I started playing I was hooked immediately and wanted in. It’s highly addictive and I can imagine Aussie families taking to this as passionately as I have.”

A high calibre of comedians, actors and television stars will be at the desk each week, including Dave Hughes, Rove McManus, Chrissie Swan, Jimeoin, Brendan Fevola, Casey Donovan and Natalie Bassingthwaighte.

Clear your schedules and your mind, and get ready to CRAM.

Was that Sarah Aubrey (Seven’s long-time female V/O) who did a promo for Cram, seen during Survivor finale tonight?

Surely not.

Weird promo… it’s premiering next Tuesday but the promo said coming November 2nd which is a Thursday.

Ten are fucked.

They also did this todya saying wrong girl is kn Thursday after it’s been moved to Wednesday.

Why don’t Ten just air The Wrong Girl at 9.30 on a Wednesday. Considering The Wrong Girl will air a double ep next week.

Wait? Has the show actually been delayed now?

No it’s just ten fucking up the ads.

No. The launch has in fact been delayed to avoid clashing with The Block.

They mean ‘TEN’ and ‘WIN Network’ which is correct.

Clearly nobody passed these details onto the social media team as the shows accounts haven’t been updated as yet, but the website has been updated - go figure.

Some variation in the promos would have been nice. I don’t watch Ten that much but I’ve seen the ‘famous Peters’ bit countless times. Turning into more of a turn off than a teaser.
