Just saw the piece on 10 news about the cabins at Avalon airport. No hallways, aircon and all fresh air. They think it could be ready in a week and house 300 returning Australians. It’s only a proposal but seems like a good idea.

Agree, the bloke’s dreaming if he thinks he’ll win the next election. Recent polls showed he only had something like 15% approval as party leader.
I reckon the only option the Vic Libs have at the next election is a female candidate. All the men in the party are hopeless.

3 new exposure sites were added today in the Broadmeadows area. They are just a bakery and couple fruit and veg stores so seems likely that they are additional places added from today’s case or maybe the other household contact tested positive.
Just saw Leigh Sales report to the Victorian Premiers on 7.30. Very fair and balanced questions, all very good points.

I’m not sure about the fruit and veg stores but the bakery was put in replace of the shopping centre. The person apparently got the place wrong or something.

The new exposure sites are linked to today’s positive case. After further investigation, BonBons Bakery replaced Fergusson Plarre Bakehouse. Seems the positive case remembers where they have attended.
Good sign if we see no further exposure sites added overnight, we’ll probably see a donut day tomorrow.

I’m no expert on Body Language but you can tell he wasn’t happy she was there essentially conducting the interview as she would have this evening.
Funny how all the other Journo’s don’t jump in with questions, I’m sure they were all as surprised as we are she appeared.

How is she caught in the lockdown when the NsW borders are open?
Read above. She got stuck in Melbourne from Friday after visiting friends for their birthday. 730 is coming out of Melbourne all this week.
But that’s the thing - how is she ‘stuck’ in Melbourne when the borders are open and she can travel freely between Victoria and New South Wales?
