One case is linked to the Berala cluster and is a close contact of a previously reported case, two cases from the Northern Beaches are household contacts of each other. There is also the Mount Druitt Hospital case revealed yesterday.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian said 14,738 tests weren’t good enough.

0 locally acquired. I guess that’s why people aren’t wearing their masks as much as they were last week.

What would happen if the case numbers were not mentioned? Would people be wearing masks more readily?

Almost every guy in the shopping centres around me in Melbourne isn’t wearing a mask, no enforcement either. It’s a joke. Male privilege and emasculation.

I’m a boofheaded male and I’ve gotten into the swing of wearing masks. Got 4 coming from Redbubble in the coming days.

What is the problem with Victorian males? :stuck_out_tongue:

Which area are you in?

Yep… I was at Highpoint yesterday and DFO Essendon this morning. Most are wearing masks within the stores, but there are a lot not wearing them through the main walkways etc.

It seems to be more of an older male thing.

Western

Really? I haven’t been to one shopping centre in Melbourne where they aren’t being worn. I thought the compliance was quite good.

Yeah I’ve seen it a bit in the Western suburbs too. Not where I actually am, but when I’ve travelled out a bit to a specific centre here and there.

Yeah I’ve only seen good compliance but then again I don’t leave my inner city bubble often :joy:

This bloke on Twitter has been collecting all available info from NSW Health and collating it in basic form. A stark reminder that a headline of zero daily cases isn’t quite as straightforward as it seems.

Is that 12 unlinked cases ever? Or 12 current active cases that are unlinked? His table actually poses more questions.
