Yes, with the funding that 31/44 gets plus they are more likely to sell airtime and advertising if they have a national free to air audience.

And where would Aurora get FTA spectrum from without having to pay an existing FTA broadcaster for a multichannel slot? Not going to happen.
Has the CTV+ App on Android died? For a few weeks all that happens is the spinning circles whizzing around the CTV+ logo.

Just tested on iOS and yep, app appears dead from here too.
The App Store reviews seem to suggest it has been offline for quite some time.
