I remember a trip to the UK where we couldn’t figure out how to turn off the heated towel rack in the bathroom of the AirBnB, apparently it was linked to the hot water system to so turn it off you also had to turn off the hot water.

Also it was like 10 degrees outside but even with the window wide open the cold air from outside still refused to come into the hot stuffy room!

An unseasonal thunderstorm in SEQ last night, kept players off the field before the start of the AFL because of lightning and delivered hail to some suburbs.

Yeah it got a bit wild out west here for a while. Very unexpected in July.

We had our own unseasonable July storm about a fortnight ago. The lightning rates were right up there with a summer storm, though the severity of the weather wasn’t too bad.
