Interesting to see Prime Taree still getting a guernsey in the listings. Griffith viewers would have seen exactly the same as the Central West folk, except for local news and local advertisements.

ECN-8 had been getting it’s own TV listings in the ‘Newcastle Herald’ from the 1960s right through to just before aggregation.

Following on from Johnny Young’s passing on Friday, I thought to dig out a few TV Guides for ‘Young Talent Time’.
Debut episode from ATV-10 on Saturday April 24, 1971 at 7pm (note the program synopsis ‘new musical series’ from ‘The Age’).
Final episode was Friday December 23, 1988 at 7.30pm with a Christmas special (also ATV-10 below again from ‘The Age’).
A couple of random ones
April 23-24 1983 from the SMH whereby NBN-3, WIN-4 and TEN-10 all screened it on different days/times
And ‘Mining Television Network’ viewers in remote WA got to see it at midday Saturday on 19 July 1986! (from the ‘Western Mail’).

Coverage of the 2004 Summer Olympics from Athens on both 7 and SBS. Channel 7 had daytime highlights when there was no competition in Athens before live coverage began at 1:30pm AWST until 5:00am the following morning

I remember David Johnson reading the 10.30 Morning News on the east coast. Sunrise and The Morning News all came out of BCM during this time. Just before big move over to Martin Place.

This was when QTV in Mount Isa was renamed Ten Satellite.
And thank heavens for that!

Interesting the 5pm and 6pm hours on Ten were switched from TVQ’s schedule (I presume that was its news source)

Yes, I think their bulletin came from Townsville, as TNQ/FNQ still had a local bulletin then.

Never thought I’d see GWN in a QLD TV guide!
Looks weird seeing news at 8pm and A Current Affair at 9pm.
But by June, this was replaced by Imparja.

I’m guessing they were getting GWN and Imparja in a rather dodgy manner? Where there any conditional access imposed on those two channels before Imparja and QQQ/ITQ combined their areas?
