I was too young to see the original run but did catch the daytime reruns in the 1980s if i had a day off school or it was school holidays.
I enjoy the mid-late 00s Perth TV guides. Basically my childhood watching TV
That “Seven-Thirty Report” wording makes me wonder, did any station ever just list it as “Report” so it’d show “7:30 Report”.
It was called Seven-Thirty Report back in the 90s
Not that I can recall.
Huge amounts of nostalgia for me as well with the guides from that period. It’s crazy I can still recall what shows I would have watched on the given day.

I noticed HD Channel ONE has abandoned a simulcast of TEN’s AFL matches.
Only one game showed that day as well. Usually, wasn’t there an afternoon game on 10 as well as a primetime game?

On that night, Torvill and Dean’s Dancing on Ice premiered on Channel Nine.
I remember watching that awful Lennon movie on this day.

I noticed that Channel 7 showed the One Day Cricket between England and Australia from The Oval, London. A staggered schedule with game starting at 5:30pm on Seven Perth before cutting telecast at 6, then resuming the telecast at 7pm.
Seven aired it live but an hour of play was missed due to News and TT. H&A didn’t air due to cricket
Today’s TV: 12.7.1988, Darwin (and ABAD7 Alice Springs)
And some Queensland regional channels
And the week on Imparja

From memory, because I don’t have the magazine in front of me, the NT issue had the Darwin daily listings appearing on consecutive pages, then the next 7 pages were the QLD regionals (for no real practical reason I guess other than to fill up blank pages) and then Imparja after that.
I noticed Seven replaced Passions at 9:30am with kids programming for I assume was for the school holiday period, although I don’t recall that happening in Sydney? I have a recording of the “final” episode of Passions which aired on 22 July.
Yeah, This would have been for the school holidays, Tabaluga was always a go-to program for 7 during periods when school was out. Not sure if it was the same over east but was here in Perth.
