Radio with Pictures was a low budget, live music show produced by Ted Robinson who went on to produce many of the ABC’s landmark live comedy shows. It featured music genres that weren’t commercially popular such as jazz, blues and folk. It was broadcast late on Friday nights simultaneously on ABC TV and 2JJ and was repeated on Sunday afternoons during 1975.
There was also a New Zealand version of “Radio with Pictures” (1976-89, 1990), although it had no links to the Australian format of the same name.
“Seven’s got News for You!” That’s one way to promote it.
IIRC, “The Best of The Footy Show” actually aired on Nine/WIN/NBN in the relevant markets immediately after the 2005 NRL Grand Final - interesting to see that Imparja apparently delayed it.
You Are What You Eat…LOL what a dodgy show that was with the benefit of hindsight!
i remember racing home in Year 7 to watch Who Dares Wins reruns lol i was such a geek
Presumably people who were watching Imparja in NSW in 2005 were not deemed to consider watching Southern Cross Central as it is not listed, not even as a “variation” to Prime?
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex on SBS. Great night’s viewing.
The Mole was a classic, but the 2005 reformat hosted by Tom Williams (which also included live eliminations at Martin Place) wasn’t a hit among the fans, with some calling for Grant Bowler’s return (he was unavailable due to a prior commitment).
Wasn’t that with the awful woman who was obsessed with everyone’s shit?
Yep, Gillian McKeith.
I remember her - she was very blunt, IIRC
The internet tells me that her nutritional approach + the safety of her recommendations have been criticised by health professionals.
During the pandemic, McKeith has also faced criticism for promoting COVID-19 misinformation, strong anti-lockdown/anti-vaccine views and even suggested that nutrition could provide immunity against infection! I really wish I made that last bit up.

I still can’t work out why WIN4 and CTC7 were included in the Northern NSW edition. WIN4 would have been a possibility on the North Coast during tropospheric ducting.
I think it’s just to fill up some empty columns
Inclusion of TVO in NNSW guide reflection of how far the low frequency Band 1 signal travelled.
