A discussion about the lack of SBS availability in regional areas in 1994 in the ‘Random TV History’ thread when the FIFA World Cup was prompted me to delve into the SMH archives and dig this out (Sunday 17 July 1994) for coverage of the final…. Seems like all Prime markets aired it as I imagine Prime wouldn’t have the ability to split it’s signal that precisely to only those areas not served by SBS.
