Never knew ABC used to televise the ATP tennis Masters events back in the day.

Also who could forget Cash Bonanza, which IIRC was hosted by Larry Emdur?

Fixed that one for you - it should be obvious by the title of the paper which city the SMH primarily focuses its coverage on!

Anyway, that 4pm program on Channel Ten…hello there, paid programming!

Yes, you’re correct with that presumption.

I thought Something in the Air was 5x30 mins a week?

That’s Bright Ideas 12-2pm.

initially it was. Then it got bumped to Saturday nights.

I didn’t mind the show. Sad.

Today on Saturday.

I think this edition went for a year or so. Didn’t last long from memory.

I think it was a victim of internal politics as it was during the era of a change of management under new Managing Director Jonathan Shier who seemed to take a dislike to everything and so the show got bumped around a bit before being quietly axed.

Think that was tied for a while with an Instant Scratch-It, and filmed at Movie World.

GP! There’s a memory. Such a great show, well ahead of it’s time in terms of the subjects it covered, including AIDS, which is referenced in the synopsis in the guide above.
