Really? He is also hosting events at Erina Fair on Friday afternoons for the station.
I hope he ends up staying. I knew he wouldn’t last at 2Day. He is more suited to the Hit Music Station format.

Interesting. As Whitto was doing the morning shift this week as usual.
This means a new afternoons workday announcer will be commencing soon.
Triple M is doing an All Aussie Weekend for the long weekend.
All Aussie Bangerz. Interesting use of the word
Ash’s baby is due in September.
Star 104.5 has received a new look website falling in line with the rest of the Nova Network.
Finally, It was long overdue.
The new look website is now much more similar to Capital FM in London. We certainly live in a globalised world.
Apart from the small strip at the top of the website - you would not even know it was a page for a radio station on the Central Coast!
Next thing you know we’ll be getting British programs.
And talent, Greg Burns tried it.
And Christian O’Connell in Melbourne but his program is very successful.
Star 104.5 has launched “Rabbit & Sarah’s $104,000 Kick Start The Coast”, which is aimed at offering small businesses a marketing campaign that drives their business & the local economy that are heavily hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

I’m struggling to understand the Central Coast market at the moment. Star 1045 has had the More Music Variety (80’s to Now basically) for a number of years now.
All of a sudden Hit relaunched and is basically playing the same music. What’s the strategy here? Hoping their shows are better than Star so people move over to them.
Did Hit even consider this when they relaunched the whole network? Did they check individual competition? Obviously not.
Star 1045 and Hit 101.3 are the same.
What a shame for the Central Coast community.
SCA are obviously too cheap to tailor formats to each region.
It’s probably a good thing the Central Coast has a reasonably good mix of community stations (arguably a better variety than what Newcastle has), because their commercial offerings aren’t particularly exciting listening these days!
Agree with that comment. Star, Hit Coast & Newcastle and NewFM are all very similar sounding stations.
Should Nova Ent Smooth Star 104.5?
