Capital Radio Network

Do you think they could be of interest to ARN considering they own licences in Bega and Nowra which are adjacent licences to Goulburn and Cooma?

I reckon ACE will snap them all up - or do a deal with them.

Only one problem: The licence area for 3GG in Warragul has a huge overlap with Sale RA1 (41.44%, which is above the 30% threshold), where ACE already owns two radio stations (Gold & TRFM).

Pleased to report from my travels through not so sunny Goulburn today that GNFM is back in stereo, on both 107.7 and 106.1 Crookwell (which I think is fed off air from 107.7).

Bec & Jack: The housemates who became Snow FM’s newest Breakfast team

They’re mates. They’re housemates. And now, they’re radio co-hosts, with Bec Kempin and Jack Boyd teaming up for a brand-new Breakfast show on Snow FM this week.

Tomorrow (Tuesday, April 28) sees the official launch of Snow FM Breakfast with Bec & Jack.

Both BOOM Radio recruits, Bec and Jack came through Perth’s North Metropolitan TAFE Radio & Podcasting program.

They’re just the tip of the BOOM talent pipeline making their mark on the radio industry, and the third consecutive BOOM Radio leader recruited by the Capital Radio Network, joining Snow FM Workday announcer April Hammond.

Rick Lenarcic appointed Capital Radio Network CEO

Lenarcic joins the network with three decades of sales and leadership with SCA, Grant Broadcasters and most recently Tapt Media, where he was Head of Direct Sales and Operations and had worked for 18 months across the purchase of the former Nine Radio by the Laundy Family Trust.

He will start on his new role, to be based in Canberra, early in July.
