Wow… what a great watch. So much history here.
Love seeing the old inner corridors of what was once ATV10.
The former channel 10 newsroom can be seen (it’s been the costume room for the past 30 years). I wonder which studio held the news?

Changes in the way transmitter sites are being used, combined with the regular schedule of equipment upgrading have resulted in more FM installations around the world over the past couple of years.
News of the frequency changes for ABC stations in Perth will mean further FM activity in Australia next year.
“2025 has been a big year for RF investment, outpacing studio investment by a substantial margin,” said Matt Cauthen from SCMS, Dielectric.

ABC Upper Hunter studios in Brook Street Muswellbrook
Radio Hunter Valley (2NM/Power FM) studios in Brook Street Muswellbrook
I think they only relocated there a few years ago? Weren’t they in Bridge St since at least the 1980s before that?
Rossgole Lookout transmitter site - BAI site, carries NNSW TV (Newcastle submarket), ABC FM radio and 2KY IIRC.
Former 2NM transmitter site on McCully’s Gap Road. Completely clear now.
McCullys Gap Road transmitter site - BAI 2UH site.
2nd photo for the McCully’s Gap site - transmitter hut
2NM transmitter site on Bengalla Road. There are 3 towers, but some of them might be dust monitors.

Years ago, I used to think Power FM was there too, so I got a surprise when I found out they’re on the other side of town at the Mt Arthur coal site, presumably to cover Singleton better.
That’s the only site I didn’t get to, only because of the fact it’s on a mine site and off limits to the public. I always thought that Rossgole was off limits, but no, it’s not.
Sorry for flooding the page, at my level I can only do one embedded image per post so thanks to @TelevisionAU for combining them.
These were taken with my new camera, and you can find a lot more here:

Thanks for posting.
Being an Upper Hunter boy from way back, do you know if the old Mt Helen FM have studios in Muswellbrook? And if so, where? Or just at Murrurundi (I think)?
Both. Although the Murrurundi studios was actually at Willow Tree.
Council to decide on $35m redevelopment of abandoned New Town ‘eyesore’
A $35m development planned for the old WIN Television site at New Town – which includes housing units and visitor accommodation – is expected to go before the Hobart City Council next month.
Nexus Hospitals planned to build a 26-bed private hospital at the site, but abandoned the project when costs blew out to more than $120m — double the original estimate in 2021.
The redevelopment proposed for 48-50 and 52 New Town Rd includes 23 home units and 38 visitor accommodation units.
The planning application also includes a café for the ground floor along with consulting rooms and a gym and wellness centre.
There would be 67 car parking spaces and four motorcycle parking spaces in a lower ground floor carpark.
I was in Lismore recently & saw the NBN office
First, in town there is two pieces of signage on a building in Carrington Street (I assume they once where located here & the signage wasn’t removed when they left):
Then their current location in Goonellabah on the outskirts of the city
any idea why they might have such a big property out at Goonellabah?
And I get there may not be an urgent need to update signage but that signage looks very old!
