Kim Woodburn would have been delighted at the news. She called her a “two faced bitch” on numerous occasions on GB News during the Phillip Schofield scandal. ![]()

I guess Kim is at least a one faced bitch. A truly vile woman, hence a regular on GB News.
Doctors, another British daytime soap, has been axed. Holby City was axed in 2022.
She was more at her prime when she was on How Clean is your House. And hilarious.
So Doctors first appeared on Australian TV in 2013 where it screened on BBC UKTV before it being pulled
It had a good run but very much was of the standard of a daytime soap and had got worse in recent years. It had it’s number of episodes slashed a few years ago pre-covid having ever longer summer, Easter and Christmas breaks and then during covid it lost the Friday episode which was never restored.
And in other daytime axing news this week Steph’s Packed Lunch - the C4 early afternoon equivalent of This Morning - has been axed after just over three years on air. A shame as the programme had really found it’s feet and having live content lifts an otherwise rather stale C4 daytime line up, but the fact is it just never managed to find an audience - just 150k compared to around the 1m watching ITV at that time and the 2m watching BBC1.
BBC’s Top Gear is to be ‘rested’ for the foreseeable future, following the injury of one of the main hosts, Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff, when filming the show back in last December.
An update on the new Sky Mix idents:
UKTV (not the Foxtel one) is to be relaunched as U Summer next year. UKTV Play would be renamed to just the alphabet.
Meanwhile, Drama, Dave, W and Yesterday will be adding a U& prefix to their names - perhaps because “Part of U” is already taken? ![]()
Though I thought of this Chicago “U” station first when I saw the rebrand:
i, uh, wtf?
they should’ve kept with the UK(channel name) naming convention from the 90s/00s

Yeah it’s awful.
Ugh! UGLY. ![]()
Just looks stupid already.
UKTV’s family of free-to-air channels will become U&Dave , U&DRAMA , U&YESTERDAY and U&W.
UKTV’s pay channels Alibi, Gold and Eden will transition to U&alibi, U&GOLD, U&eden at a later date, uniting the full network under the U brand.
Marketing consultants, honestly ![]()
Yeah. Much better as:
UK Dave, UK DRAMA, UK YESTERDAY and UK W.
Reminiscent of the BBC satirical comedy Twenty Twelve about the London Olympics. In one episode the marketing consultants are looking at a new BBC logo and they conclude that the problem with the current logo is that it has too many letters ![]()
“Yeah, cool”
