Ten approached Ebay with the idea, and worked directly with the brand on the creative.
Lego has to cancel the launch of a new Technic model based on Boeing V-22 Osprey, because it has overlooked the fact that it is a military plane in real life.

I was hoping to get my hands on this set too. A lot of outrage within the LEGO Adult community.
LEGO do not release sets that are based on military vehicles, this has always been their mantra. But the fact that the set made it this far into the product development stage then cancelled is a bit strange?
News Corp reports Canadian dairy giant Saputo will retire the Coon cheese brand after more than 20 years of lobbying from Indigenous activist Dr Stephen Hagan that the name is racist.

I feel the name could have been retained if Saputo simply added the initials E.W. (after Edward William Coon, who invented the cooning method) to make it E.W. Coon. That would have been the end of the story.
I don’t think that would have worked.
It’s not as ubiquitous / valuable of a brand as it was 20 years ago, honestly well timed to dump it.
Agree
…and that right there is an extremely significant factor in the decision to rebrand. We all know there’s absolutely no way Saputo would get away with Coon as a cheese brand in North America, so it’s probably for the best that it’s retired here in Australia and replaced with a far less controversial one.
Agreed. As it’s been covered before, there’s been so many new different brands of cheese introduced to the market over the last two decades or so.
Not to mention that despite the fact Coon cheese was named after a person, it seems highly likely people were more than aware about the other meaning of that word even before the cheese brand was launched.
Here’s a link to the cheese story that’s not behind a pay wall.
Regardless of whether that solves all the problems with a problematic name - you don’t name a food “ew” if you want it to sell.
Ewwwww!
Finally was able to get my hands on a Kmart 3 in 1 Oven Airfryer after being out of stock for months on end.
It’s a great size for a 11 Lt. I like all the attachments that comes with it too.
Reasonable price at $129.
