I always thought that was scummy, buying peoples loyalty. I’ll be glad not to be pestered at the checkout in future!
Just noticed another case of shrinkflation. So Woolies has Darrel Lea Bullets in the reduced to clear section 226g for $1.65.
Meanwhile, in the regular lolly aisle, the new packs are 204g for $2.75, reduced from $5.50 for a half price sale.
So if you bought the bigger pack it’s cheaper than the smaller pack.
Bigger is usually cheaper though?
No, I’m saying the bigger 226g has been reduced to $1.65 while stocks last but the smaller pack is 204g and currently $2.75 but normally $5.50.
So the regular price will be the same in future but the pack has shrunk by 22g. These packs had originally been 250g.
