Only for 10 minutes - after that, it’s there forever.
Outside of Australia, they’re possibly assuming its ok given the parental involvement.
Seven just advertised during the Carols (at 9.18pm) that during tomorrow (Sunday) nights 6pm News Bulletin in Sydney - that it will air a memorial service that will include a minutes silence. To mark one week since the attacks.
Same promo also shown in Melbourne.
I think the Adelaide 6pm bulletin will also carry the ceremony live.
I don’t know what the timing of the service is but could it be carried nationwide?
There will be a minute of silence at 6.47pm Sydney time, so the ceremony will start a few minutes before that.
This will probably mean that Big Bash starts on 7Mate and then moves to 7 at the conclusion of the memorial service
ABC News Channel will broadcast the memorial service live from 6pm to 7pm AEDT, according to the ABC online guide.
The memorial service also appears on the descriptions of the channel’s bulletins for the rest of the day.
It probably will roll until close to 8.36pm AEDT when the first non-bulletin program comes up.
Other FTAs have not announced an EPG change.
Christmas with Delta on Nine will be affected also if Nine News will run the service
Depending on time difference, my guess is that Christmas with Delta will start 15 to 30 minutes later than scheduled in Sydney and Melbourne, and aired at the scheduled time of 7pm in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. All will be revealed on Sunday morning.
If it helps to reassure, primetime programming is not expected to be disrupted at this time.
Unless this is not the event networks are planning to cover.

At the end of Weekend Today this morning, they mentioned that Christmas with Delta is starting at 7.40pm.
So I am assuming that Nine News will be extending their bulletin until then (aedt).
