I really can’t stand the trend of advertising using the “we’re for…” hook. I’m sure another major company has used the rhyming descriptions nonsense fairly recently too.
Tabcorp? I thought it was fairly lazy advertising to basically repeat the premise of a campaign that was running up until a few weeks ago (if it has indeed stopped)
I was so looking forward to the slogan:
Media Spy. We’re for Media.
Hi Guys, someone said on Facebook that the linear channels will disappear off Binge I hope that is not so as it is a big part of why I have it!
This comment?
I’ve read that it seems the channels are there so that the latest episodes are available, but you need to watch them as they are broadcast as the immediate catch up is only on Foxtel Go/Now.
Something I read
New documentary series about a fraud on McDonald’s in the USA.
is there anyway you can reactive your account one you have canceled it?
I watched this show online the other month, very good show
Enjoyed it at the beginning but felt the last few episodes dragged on a bit
Binge announced via Herald Sun today that it is offering all new customers across Victoria a free one-month trial of a Binge standard subscription. Visit binge.com.au/melbourne
BINGE UNLOCKED FOR LOCKED DOWN MELBOURNE
WITH NEW RESTRICTIONS AND SOME POSTCODES IN LOCKDOWN, BINGE IS OFFERING A MONTH ON US TO KEEP MELBURNIANS ENTERTAINED
As COVID-19 restrictions in Melbourne once again tighten and a number of suburbs go into full lock down, Australia’s newest streaming service, BINGE, is doing its bit to make things a little easier by providing new customers with one month of access.
Starting today (Friday, 3 July) the promotion will run through until 11.59pm Monday, 6 July with Melburnians encouraged to stay in with a month on us. New customers can redeem their month of BINGE Standard by visiting www.binge.com.au/melbourne.
BINGE CEO Julian Ogrin said: “It’s a tough time for a lot of people in Melbourne with new restrictions and lock downs. We wanted to help where we could by making the time at home a little more entertaining.
“We know that streaming has significantly increased during the COVID-19 pandemic with people spending more time at home. As a brand new service, BINGE is perfectly placed for those looking for fresh content with over 10,000 hours of the best drama, reality, lifestyle and movies from the world’s best creators.
“There is something for everyone to binge on, from global hits such as Game of Thrones, Big Little Lies and Chernobyl, to blockbuster movies and new binge-worthy favourites such as McMillion$ and White House Farm,” Mr Ogrin said.
The offer is open to new customers only and valid for one month access on the BINGE Standard package.
How would it know I’m in Qld … IP address?
Seems like it’s just a general promotional offer which isn’t restricted to those living in Melbourne
They must be desperate for new costumers.
Binge has partnered with The Iconic to launch a range of luxe-loungewear for “bingers” up their style while streaming. It will be available from The Iconic website from this Tuesday (July 7).
Cutting into Target’s market again?
I subscribed to Binge over the weekend to test it out given they offered a free month for those in Melbourne… does anyone else find the interface super laggy - just seems really slow to scroll through and for images to load.
I’m watching via an Apple TV and it is not my internet which was running at 47mbps at the time and does so consistently - i also don’t suffer the same problem with Netflix/Stan/Disney+
Yes it’s laggy and my internet is the same speed and I also have an Apple TV.
