S.W.A.T. uncancelled

Amy Reisenbach, President of CBS Entertainment, and Katherine Pope, President of Sony Pictures Television Studios, said in a statement, “We have listened to our viewers and their outpouring of passion for S.W.A.T. and we have reached an agreement to renew it for a final season of 13 episodes to air during the 2023-2024 broadcast year. S.W.A.T. has aired for six seasons on CBS and garnered a devoted following. We are pleased that we found a way to bring it back and give closure to the show’s storylines and characters, which audiences deserve. Once again, we appreciate the talents and efforts of the cast, writers, producers and crew and everyone who has contributed to the success of S.W.A.T. We look forward to its return next season.”

What a load of crap, obviously after the announcement someone relented with the numbers being negotiated to make it economical for CBS to proceed.

Highly anticipated documentary film Bama Rush directed and executive produced by verité documentary filmmaker Rachel Fleit (“Introducing, Selma Blair”), which follows four young women during sorority recruitment at the University of Alabama in the fall semester of 2022 premieres May 23 on BINGE.

In August 2021, the long-held tradition of sorority recruitment at the University of Alabama, also known as rush, went viral on TikTok. Becoming a viral sensation and cultural phenomenon using the hash tag “Bama Rush,” to date more than 2 billion people have watched. In the upcoming feature documentary Bama Rush , Fleit follows four young women as they prepare to rush at the university in 2022 exploring the emotional complexities and stakes of belonging in this crucial window into womanhood.

ABBIE CHATFIELD AND CAST OF FBOY ISLAND AUSTRALIA TO ATTEND LAUNCH EVENT

To celebrate the launch of new BINGE reality series FBOY Island Australia, host Abbie Chatfield will walk the red carpet at the launch event in Sydney on Thursday May 25.

Joining Abbie be the three ladies looking for love this season, 26-year-old occupational therapist Molly O’Halloran, 26-year-old professional DJ Sophie Blackley and 21-year-old model Ziara Rae as well as a number of local celebrities and media personalities.

The 10-episode reality series hosted by radio host and reality star Abbie Chatfield will follow three Australian women as they navigate the dating pool together to uncover who are the self-proclaimed “nice guys” looking for love, and who are the self-proclaimed “FBoys” only there to play the game and take home the cash prize. The series premieres on May 29.

The first look trailer and key art for the new dark comedic thriller Based on a True Story, starring Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina, have been released ahead of its 8 June premiere on BINGE, with all episodes releasing at once.

The eight-episode series is about a realtor, a former tennis star and a plumber who seize a unique opportunity to capitalise on America’s obsession with true crime.

In addition to Cuoco and Messina, the series also stars Tom Bateman, Priscilla Quintana, Liana Liberato, Natalia Dyer, Alex Alomar Akpobome, Aisha Alfa, Annabelle Dexter-Jones and Li Jun Li.

Craig Rosenberg (The Boys, Gen V) serves as creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer of the series. Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan are executive producers for Aggregate Films alongside Kaley Cuoco and Alex Buono, who directs episodes one and eight. Has Days Of Our Lives been removed from Binge?

Once Succession is over am thinking of giving Binge a rest for a few months. It’s been a great service but good content is harder to find of late. I actually think Paramount+ has more on offer currently. Anyone else feeling like this?

The premiere date of 13 July along with the official teaser for the upcoming limited series Full Circle, starring Claire Danes and Dennis Quaid, has been released ahead of its two-episode premiere on BINGE; two new episodes drop every Thursday.

The six-episode series follows an investigation into a botched kidnapping that uncovers long-held secrets connecting multiple characters and cultures in present day New York City.

In addition to Danes and Quaid, the cast includes Zazie Beetz, Jim Gaffigan, Jharrel Jerome, Timothy Olyphant, CCH Pounder, Phaldut Sharma, Adia, Sheyi Cole, Gerald Jones, Suzanne Savoy, Ethan Stoddard and Lucian Zanes.
